Representatives of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the latest meeting of the Executive Council of the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA).
The meeting was opened by INTERPA Chairman and President of the Turkish National Police Academy, Murat Balçi. He reviewed the current state of cooperation among member institutions, highlighted the results achieved, and outlined future priorities.
The heads of the Indonesian National Police Academy, the Faculty of Law Enforcement of the Ludovika University of Public Service of Hungary, and the Qatar Police Academy addressed the main agenda items. They emphasized the importance of strengthening international cooperation in professional law enforcement training and expanding the exchange of experience in responding to modern threats and challenges.
In addition, participants discussed upcoming INTERPA activities. The General Assembly and Executive Council will hold future meetings in Qatar, Hungary, Vietnam, and North Macedonia. Plans were also presented for the organization of a conference and seminar-training on a relevant topic. The Executive Council also reviewed the application of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for membership.
The Executive Council members agreed to expand collaboration among educational institutions and enhance the organization's international standing. Aside from learning about the activities of the Indonesian National Police Academy, foreign delegations also exchanged experience on advanced professional practices with the country's law enforcement agencies.
