Public Security Department and "Istiqbolli Avlod" Social and Information Center signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

On July 6, the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republican Social and Information Center "Istiqbolli Avlod" signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The document was signed during a meeting between First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Head of the Public Security Department, Major General Rustam Juraev, and Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the "Istiqbolli Avlod" Social and Information Center, Shokhida Kasimova.
During the meeting, the parties discussed international best practices in preventing harassment and violence against women and children, preventing juvenile delinquency, and organizing training for inspectors-psychologists and staff of centers providing social and legal assistance to minors with international experts.
The sides also exchanged views on the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted on April 11, 2023, on amendments to legislative acts aimed at further strengthening the protection of the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of women and children.
The parties also agreed to develop a joint cooperation plan between the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the "Istiqbolli Avlod" Social and Information Center.
