The working group led by the head of the Namangan Regional Department of Internal Affairs continues its comprehensive review of efforts to strengthen public safety, maintain a stable criminal situation, prevent crime at an early stage, and improve conditions in the region's 33 mahallas classified as "red," with the goal of gradually moving them into the "green" category.
During the visit, the working group first reviewed the activities of the Uchkurgan District Department of Internal Affairs and analyzed the results of the second phase of the "Safe and Healthy Country" prevention campaign.
In the meeting, achievements and deficiencies were analyzed across service areas, and specific tasks were assigned by the responsible officials to further improve the effectiveness of prevention programs.
The working group also visited the "Ulugbek" and "Tegirmon" mahallas. They reviewed the activities of the mahalla council, the work of prevention inspectors, engagement with local residents, and the current criminal situation.
The effectiveness of preventive measures implemented in the mahallas was assessed on site, and existing problems and possible solutions were discussed.
Based on the findings, responsible officials were instructed to eliminate the identified shortcomings, improve service efficiency, strengthen targeted preventative measures in "red" mahallas, facilitate their transition to the "green" category, and ensure the timely implementation of assigned tasks based on the findings.
