In accordance with the instructions of the Head of republic, systematic efforts are continuing across the districts of the capital to prevent crime and offenses, maintain public order, and strengthen a safe environment in mahallas.
To this end, a working group led by Colonel Qobil Shodibekov, Head of the Department of Protection under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reviewed the level of protection in the mahallas of Mirabad district, Tashkent city, as well as in public places, social facilities, and the surrounding areas of multi-storey residential buildings.
During the review, particular attention was paid to the crime situation in the district, factors contributing to criminal activity, potentially high-risk locations, and issues causing concern among local residents.
Together with mahalla activists, prevention inspectors, personnel of the Protection Service, and representatives of relevant organizations, the working group analyzed the current situation on the ground and identified specific measures to improve it.
Special attention was given to strengthening protection at residential buildings, business entities, educational and social institutions, ensuring the effective use of modern technical protection systems, as well as improving the operational readiness and effectiveness of rapid response units.
The participants also emphasized the need to intensify preventive measures during nighttime in crowded public areas, markets, trade and service facilities, and around multi-storey residential buildings. It was noted that efforts should focus not only on addressing the consequences of offenses but also on identifying and eliminating the causes and conditions that contribute to their occurrence.
Colonel Qobil Shodibekov stressed that efforts to ensure a safe environment must produce tangible results for residents rather than remain merely on paper. He instructed the responsible officials to organize systematic work in every mahalla so that citizens can feel protected and secure in their communities.
The main objective of these measures is to prevent crime and offenses in Mirabad district, strengthen a safe environment in mahallas, increase public trust in state institutions, and ensure comfortable and safe living conditions for every citizen.
Practical efforts aimed at crime prevention, strengthening a safe environment in mahallas, and maintaining public order across the districts of the capital are continuing.
