Advanced Training Institute of the MIA discussed cooperation prospects with the International Committee of the Red Cross

The Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a working meeting with a delegation from the Regional Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross for Central Asia.
During the meeting, the Institute's leadership and representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in education, scientific research, and international partnerships, as well as discussing future collaboration opportunities and priority areas.
The discussion focused on integrating international humanitarian law into the training and professional development of internal affairs personnel. The participants also considered organizing joint seminars, training courses, and scientific-practical conferences, conducting training sessions with the participation of international experts, developing modern educational and methodological materials together, and fostering international exchanges of best practices.
Further, the parties discussed the possibility of improving the educational process, enhancing the professional capacity of faculty members, and implementing joint projects in order to improve students' knowledge of international humanitarian law and practical skills.
Following the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, implementing joint scientific and practical initiatives, and enhancing bilateral relations.
The meeting provided another opportunity for the Institute to broaden its international cooperation, improve the quality of education and training, and prepare its internal affairs personnel to meet international standards.
