Representatives of the MDIA of Tashkent city attended the International Capital Police Council in Korea

On June 23-25, a delegation from the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs participated in the first meeting of the International Capital Police Council (ICPC 2026).
A number of representatives of the police departments of Uzbekistan, the People's Republic of China, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Philippines, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Netherlands, and the Republic of Korea attended the event.
On the opening day of the first meeting of the Council, the main theme was "Strengthening Cooperation Among Capital Police Forces to Enhance the Fight Against Cross-Border Crime and Ensure the Safety of Citizens Abroad."
The participation of the Uzbek delegation reflected ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation, study advanced foreign experiences, and introduce modern approaches to the activities of internal affairs bodies. In particular, emphasis was placed on developing partnerships with the competent authorities of the Republic of Korea and exchanging experiences in the field of digital transformation of policing.
This visit provided both sides with the opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest, strengthen interdepartmental cooperation, and exchange practical experience in the field of law enforcement.
Following the meeting, which was held in a constructive and friendly environment, important agreements were reached aimed at enhancing cooperation in the fight against transnational crime and enhancing public safety and rule of law in the country.
