State policy in Uzbekistan continues to prioritize reviewing citizens' appeals, listening to public concerns, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of individuals and legal entities.
The internal affairs bodies regularly organize open dialogues and mobile receptions to strengthen direct communication with the public and timely address citizens' concerns in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State.
On June 28, Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, Minister of Internal Affairs, held his latest nationwide mobile reception. Deputy ministers, heads of sectoral services, and other responsible officials participated in the event, which focused on receiving citizens' appeals, reviewing each case thoroughly, and finding practical solutions.
To make the reception more accessible, different formats were introduced across the country. Citizens in Tashkent City and Tashkent Region met directly with Ministry officials, while residents of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions submitted their appeals via videoconference. This approach enabled citizens to participate without additional travel time or expenses.
During the reception, a number of appeals covering various aspects of the activities of the internal affairs bodies were reviewed. These issues included civil and financial disputes, inquiries and investigations, social protection, and reinstatement to former employment.
During the reception, 432 appeals were registered. A total of 255 appeals (59 percent) were resolved on the spot, while the remaining 177 required additional review and were forwarded to the relevant sectoral services.
Furthermore, 401 appeals were received during mobile receptions organized by the heads of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Tashkent City, and the regional departments. In total, 160 appeals (40 percent) were resolved during the receptions, and 241 appeals were forwarded for further verification and legal assessment.
Regular mobile receptions continue to play an important role in fostering dialogue between government bodies and the public, increasing public trust, and ensuring timely resolution of citizens' concerns. A regular schedule of such receptions is held throughout the country.
