A spiritual and enlightenment seminar was held on the topic of "Drug Addiction - A Threat to the Future" at the Palace of Culture of the MIA

The event was attended by the Head of the Ministry’s Spiritual and Enlightenment Affairs Service, Lieutenant Colonel Sahipdjamal Djoldasova, personnel of the central apparatus and subordinate units of the Ministry.
The seminar provided participants with detailed information on the harmful effects of drug addiction and the use of psychotropic substances on human health, family well-being, and social development, with an emphasis on the risks these substances pose to young people.
Furthermore, the event highlighted the efforts being made to combat drug abuse, prevent its spread, and educate the general public, especially youth, about the legal consequences of drug abuse.
The participants were informed about recent amendments and additions to national legislation as well as new legal mechanisms adopted to combat the illegal trafficking of narcotics.
As part of the program, an address by the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan on combating drug addiction, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and protecting young people from harmful influences was presented.
