A delegation of the Department of Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan is continuing its working visit to the Republic of Belarus as part of the Technical Council of the Protection Department. The event brings together representatives of protection services from Belarus, Russia, and Uzbekistan.
During the program, a roundtable discussion was held focusing on the establishment of paramilitary protection units, approaches to service pricing, and the provision of personal protection services. Participants exchanged experiences, compared organizational models and pricing strategies, and discussed best practices in the protection sector.
The delegations also visited the international security industry exhibition “National Security. Belarus 2026.” The exhibition showcased the latest protection technologies and solutions developed by the Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, including integrated protection ecosystems, situational analytics tools, tracking systems, and thermal imaging technologies. Particular attention was drawn to the interactive VR zone, where visitors experienced the roles of rapid response officers, K9 handlers, and protected persons.
Speaking to the media, Major General of Police Alexander Shepelev, Head of the Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, emphasized the department’s leading role in the development and implementation of modern protection services across the CIS region. He highlighted the organization’s expertise in designing and deploying innovative protection solutions while ensuring the safeguarding of clients’ property under contractual agreements.
The delegations of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and the Protection Department of Uzbekistan continued their program with visits to protection units in the Minsk Region, including the Soligorsk Protection Department and the Republican Speleotherapy Hospital.
Special attention was given to the operations of the duty service and the centralized monitoring center, which coordinates response teams and oversees the protection of secured facilities throughout the region on a 24/7 basis. Foreign representatives were introduced to district-level protection operations, modern technical solutions, and the operational capabilities of Belarusian protection units.
The program also included a visit to one of Belarus’s most unique medical institutions—the Republican Speleotherapy Hospital. The guests descended 420 meters underground to explore a specialized treatment complex located within potash mines. The facility is currently the only operating institution in the world that utilizes a non-pharmaceutical treatment method based on underground potash mining environments.
The delegations later traveled to the Brest Region, where they reviewed the work of the regional duty service, the monitoring center, and modern technologies used in facility protection and security management.
During their visit, the guests attended the national competition for electrical technicians, “Best in Profession,” where they met participants and familiarized themselves with protection technologies used by field specialists.
The delegation also paid tribute to the defenders of the Brest Fortress by laying flowers at the Eternal Flame and visiting the exhibition “War Museum – Territory of Peace.”
The visit concluded with a trip to Belovezhskaya Pushcha, where guests toured the Museum of Folk Life and Traditional Technologies. They were welcomed with traditional bread and salt and participated in a guided cultural excursion showcasing Belarusian heritage and customs.
