The Republican Interagency Coordination Headquarters continues its reviews in Samarkand region

As part of its ongoing activities in the Samarkand region, the Republican Interagency Coordination Headquarters organized a seminar at Samarkand State University dedicated to strengthening the capacity of mahalla leaders in resolving disputes through mediation. The event was held under the leadership of First Deputy Prosecutor General Bakhodir Valiev and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Rustam Ashropov. It was attended by members of the Republican Interagency Coordination Headquarters, deputy regional governors, and heads of organizations and departments responsible for youth affairs.
During the seminar, professors and experts from Tashkent State University of Law, the Research Institute of Criminology, and Samarkand State University delivered presentations on topics including “Resolving Family Disputes Through Mediation” and “The Procedure for Implementing Social Prevention Measures in Mahallas Based on the Principle of a Prosperous and Safe Mahalla.” Participants engaged in active discussions, exchanging views and addressing questions related to the subjects presented.
As part of the visit, the working group also studied the activities being carried out at Samarkand State University based on the principles of a safe zone, safe environment, and safe students.
During the visit, members of the working group familiarized themselves with the university’s educational process, scientific research, and innovation projects.
They also reviewed the opportunities created for young people, including measures to help them spend their free time productively and prepare for upcoming tests and examinations.
The event featured presentations of startup projects, scientific research, innovative developments, and practical ideas developed by professors, researchers, and talented students.
Additionally, the working group reviewed the activities of the "Kalkon" public group established at the university to ensure the safety of students, prevent crimes, and promote a stable social environment among students. Active members of the group were recognized and encouraged for their contributions.
