As part of the celebrations dedicated to the 65th International Flower Festival, Namangan city hosted the 31st International Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Tournament, the “Amir Temur Fighting Championship” (ATF).
The prestigious sporting event featured athletes from Uzbekistan and several CIS countries, who demonstrated a high level of skill, determination, and sportsmanship in a series of exciting and competitive fights.
The tournament was attended by the Governor of Namangan region, Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov. He congratulated participants and audiences on the 65th International Flower Festival and wished all competitors success in the championship.
The competition brought together professional athletes from Uzbekistan and CIS countries, presenting uncompromising and entertaining competition for the fans. The tournament attracted the attention of MMA fans not only in our country, but also around the world to Namangan.
The highlight of the tournament was the championship bout for the ATF title belt between Uzbek fighter Shukurjon Abdurakhimov and Kazakh athlete Jasulan Khasimov. In a highly competitive contest, Abdurakhimov delivered an impressive performance, securing victory by technical knockout and successfully defending his championship title.
Following the tournament, the regional governor presented the championship belt to the winner and congratulated him on his outstanding achievement and convincing victory.
