A team of security officers successfully prevented the attempted theft of more than 1,200 liters of diesel fuel

A routine inspection conducted by security personnel in Zarafshan city's industrial zone prevented the illegal removal of a large quantity of diesel fuel. At approximately 00:10 on June 11, security officers on duty at a protected facility stopped and inspected a UAZ vehicle that had attracted attention due to its suspicious movement within the industrial area. Legal procedures were followed during the inspection.
Officers discovered 41 containers filled with diesel fuel, totaling approximately 1,230 liters, during the inspection of the vehicle. No supporting documentation or permits were provided for the transportation of the fuel.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle belonged to a local resident identified as L.M. Initial findings indicated that the fuel had been unlawfully removed from the premises of an industrial enterprise for personal use.
Following the incident, security officers completed the necessary procedural documents and transferred the collected materials, along with physical evidence, to the relevant divisions of the internal affairs bodies for further investigation.
The Zarafshan City Department of Internal Affairs is currently conducting investigative actions.
