A fraud suspect was extradited from Moldova to Uzbekistan as a result of Interpol cooperation

A citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan who had been placed on the international wanted list on fraud charges has been extradited from the Republic of Moldova to Uzbekistan as a result of effective cooperation between the National Central Bureaus of Interpol of the two countries.
The search for the suspect was initiated through Interpol channels by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan. To locate and apprehend the wanted individual, close coordination and continuous information exchange were established between the Interpol bureaus of Uzbekistan and Moldova.
Joint operations and searches resulted in the identification of the suspect's whereabouts, and he was detained in the city of Chișinău, Republic of Moldova.
After completing all necessary legal and extradition procedures, the individual was handed over to the competent authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan for further criminal proceedings.
As a result of the successful extradition, the effectiveness of international police cooperation within Interpol has been demonstrated once again, and law enforcement agencies remain committed to holding those accused of criminal offenses accountable, no matter where they attempt to avoid the law.
