In addition, it was noted that the active participation of Ministry of Internal Affairs representatives in UNHCR-supported programs and international events, including regional conferences held in Tashkent and Ashgabat, has a significant impact on the development of professional expertise and the introduction of advanced international practices into national citizenship and migration policies.
Mahir Safarli commended Uzbekistan's continuous efforts to strengthen human rights protections and praised the country's commitment to constructive engagement with international organizations.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue a constructive dialogue and implement joint initiatives aimed at further improving migration policy and ensuring reliable protection of citizens' rights.
