The effectiveness of the Protection Service and security measures at protected facilities studied in Andijan region

The Head of the Department of Protection under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reviewed the activities of the Protection Service in Andijan region, as well as the implementation of security measures at protected facilities.
During the visit, particular attention was paid to the organization of service within territorial units, the readiness of rapid response teams, the operation of command and control centers, the effectiveness of technical security equipment, and measures aimed at preventing offenses and emergency situations at protected sites.
Special focus was placed on the functioning of video surveillance systems, alarm devices, access control systems, and other security technologies. Meetings with responsible personnel addressed issues related to service discipline, the quality of security services provided, and ways to further improve the speed and efficiency of responses to requests from citizens and business entities.
In addition, meetings were held with the management of protected facilities to discuss existing challenges, proposals for improving security operations, and additional measures to strengthen safety and protection. Taking into account the specific characteristics of each facility, recommendations were provided on enhancing security plans, increasing the level of protection, and expanding the use of modern technological solutions.
The visit also included an assessment of the professional training of Protection Service personnel, their level of responsibility in carrying out official duties, and the readiness of rapid response teams to respond promptly to incidents. Personnel were assigned specific tasks related to maintaining public order, protecting property, and ensuring a prompt and high-quality response to citizensʼ appeals.
It was emphasized that the primary objective of the Department of Protection is to provide citizens, organizations, and business entities with reliable, efficient, and high-quality security services, ensure a safe environment at protected facilities, and prevent offenses before they occur.
Following the assessment, responsible officials were instructed to further enhance the effectiveness of the Protection Service in Andijan Region, introduce innovative solutions into operational processes, improve the professional skills of personnel, and strengthen security measures at protected facilities.
