The internal affairs system is making consistent efforts to continue the development of forensic science, enhance the effectiveness of crime detection, and expand the use of modern technologies in expert investigations.
As part of these efforts, a videoconference meeting was held with the participation of officials and experts from across the country to discuss the activities of forensic units. Participants discussed ongoing reforms, discussed achievements in the field, and analyzed challenges that need to be addressed in the future.
At the beginning of the event, the newly appointed Deputy Head of the Main Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, A. Djadigerov, was officially introduced to the participants.
The representatives of the territorial forensic divisions then presented reports on the use of modern technologies, digital systems, and innovative methods in criminal investigations and crime-solving operations.
Particular attention was paid to the importance of properly documenting crime scenes, collecting and preserving evidence in a complete and accurate manner, and effectively utilizing fingerprint, biological, traceological, and digital evidence. Participants emphasized the importance of adhering strictly to established procedures and professional standards during the examination process.
During the discussion, existing shortcomings were reviewed, and practical recommendations were developed to improve the quality and efficiency of forensic investigations. The officials noted the importance of increasing the participation of forensic specialists at crime scenes, conducting comprehensive analysis of material evidence, and making broader use of modern information technologies and forensic databases.
Following the meeting, priority tasks were identified for strengthening forensic support in criminal investigations, improving professional practices, and improving the capabilities of the forensic units.
It was noted that these meetings contribute significantly to improving the effectiveness of crime detection, facilitating early identification and prevention of crimes, and enhancing public safety and security.
