The Samarkand region is implementing comprehensive measures to ensure public safety and maintain public order during the Eid al-Adha celebrations. Preventive efforts have been intensified to provide safe and favorable conditions for citizens to celebrate the holiday peacefully, and to prevent offences and emergencies.
In this regard, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel Ramazon Ashropov conducted a pre-service briefing with the participation of leaders and personnel of regional law enforcement agencies.
During the briefing, specific tasks were outlined to further strengthen public order and security in crowded areas. These areas included mosques, markets, recreation parks, and venues hosting public events throughout the holiday period.
Additionally, special attention was paid to the safety of the roads, the regulation of vehicle movement, the strict adherence to fire safety requirements, and the prompt consideration of appeals by citizens. The responsible officials were instructed to maintain heightened vigilance during the holiday period and ensure coordinated service.
The mobilization of forces and technical resources is aimed at guaranteeing peace, stability, and safety of residents and visitors throughout the holiday celebrations in the region.
