It remains a priority objective of state policy in Uzbekistan to ensure open dialogue with the population, to listen to citizen concerns, and to protect their legitimate interests. According to the tasks assigned by the head of state, the internal affairs bodies regularly hold open dialogues and mobile receptions to address the issues raised by citizens in a timely and effective way.
On May 24, another mobile reception was held under the leadership of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Aziz Tashpulatov. The reception was attended by responsible leaders and sector officials, with particular attention focused on carefully reviewing citizens’ appeals and providing practical solutions to existing issues.
During the reception process, regional factors were taken into consideration in order to increase convenience for the public. Residents of the city and region of Tashkent participated in face-to-face meetings, while residents of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions of the country were able to submit their appeals remotely via video conference. By using this approach, citizens were able to communicate directly with government officials without experiencing unnecessary inconveniences.
At the reception, citizens raised a variety of issues related to the activities of internal affairs bodies. Specifically, the appeals related to financial disputes between individuals, matters arising during inquiry and investigation processes, social protection and reinstatement to employment, as well as other legal issues and proposals.
According to the reception results, 536 appeals were submitted. Of them, 301 appeals, accounting for 56 percent, were resolved positively on the spot in accordance with the established procedure. The remaining 235 appeals have been taken under control for further review and relevant instructions have been issued to the responsible sectoral services for further consideration.
A total of 395 appeals were received at territorial receptions organized by the leadership of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the city and region of Tashkent, as well as other regional internal affairs bodies. A total of 170 appeals, or 43 percent, were resolved immediately, while 225 were referred for further legal analysis and detailed study.
In reviewing appeals, particular attention is given to addressing the real needs of the population, eliminating long-standing unresolved issues, and restoring the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and organizations.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that such mobile receptions will continue systematically across all regions of the country, serving as an important mechanism for strengthening open dialogue between state bodies and the public, increasing citizens’ trust in government institutions, and ensuring the timely resolution of pressing issues.
