Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been recognized as the “Best Ministry” for its outstanding achievements in public service delivery. The recognition was announced during an event attended by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, where the winners of the “Quality Public Administration” program were awarded and the National Reading Movement was officially launched.

Today, the Ministry provides nearly 60 types of public services, with approximately 95 percent available fully online. This reflects the large-scale reforms being implemented to improve convenience, transparency, and accessibility for citizens.

The digital transformation process has resulted in the integration of 72 previously separate databases into the unified "Safe City" system. The platform currently connects 14 management centers and more than 20 ministries and agencies, helping strengthen coordination and improve public services efficiency.

In addition, more than 148,000 administrative cases were reviewed remotely last year, significantly reducing paperwork and eliminating unnecessary bureaucratic procedures for citizens.

In addition to these results, the Ministry has been continuously working to introduce modern digital solutions, enhance the quality of services, and make the experience for citizens more convenient.
