Leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reviewed public safety and prevention measures in the Bukhara region

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Head of the Department for Spiritual and Enlightenment Affairs and Human Resources, Colonel Diyorbek Sattarov, visited the Olot, Karakul, and Jondor districts of Bukhara region to review ongoing work aimed at strengthening public safety and improving the preventive situation in local communities.
This working visit focused on the effectiveness of crime prevention measures, the current operational situation in the districts, and efforts to ensure a safe environment for residents.
The visit began with a presentation in the "Usmonshaikh" mahalla of the Olot district, where sector officials discussed the socioeconomic and criminal conditions in the area. Officials presented practical measures being implemented to create safer mahallas and strengthen early crime prevention within the framework of Presidential resolutions adopted on January 5 of this year.
The Deputy Minister then visited the Olot district Internal Affairs Department. He reviewed the operational situation, assessed the effectiveness of preventive activities, and listened to reports from responsible officials. Crime trends in the district, existing shortcomings, and measures aimed at stabilizing the criminal situation were openly discussed.
The next stage of the visit took place in the Karakul district. In the "Dustlik" mahalla, the prevention inspector's activities were examined, including the use of electronic databases and the implementation of preventive measures. Additionally, the district's internal affairs department held discussions regarding the current crime situation, while the canine service and conditions at the temporary detention facility were inspected.
In Jondor district, officials reviewed crime indicators and ongoing work related to the implementation of the President’s decisions. After hearing reports from the district internal affairs leadership, the delegation visited the “Zarafshan” mahalla to familiarize themselves with the activities of the “mahalla seven” system and the results achieved through coordinated mahalla-based efforts.
Following the visit, the responsible officials were given specific instructions aimed at resolving existing issues, strengthening public order, and improving crime prevention efforts.
The importance of such field studies and analytical reviews in improving efficiency in the fight against crime and ensuring public safety at the local level was emphasized.
