Joint operational measures were conducted in Kokand to strengthen public safety

The Fergana Regional Internal Affairs Department, in cooperation with the State Security Service, conducted joint operational and preventive measures in Kokand aimed at maintaining public order and preventing crime.
A total of 30 individuals considered prone to committing crimes were inspected and preventive work was conducted at their residences as part of the operation. As a result of the measures, 19 individuals were found to possess illegal items and prohibited objects.
Additionally, 11 citizens received official warnings intended to prevent future unlawful activities. Law enforcement officers also identified 9 criminal cases, while administrative documents were drawn up against 11 individuals for various violations.
The officers seized 12 cold weapons, 116.4 grams of narcotic substances, 187 units of potent substances, one hunting firearm, two pneumatic weapons, and other prohibited items during the operation.
It was noted that such coordinated operational and preventive activities are carried out regularly to combat crime, strengthen public order, and ensure the safety of citizens.
