A joint preventive operation was held in the Fergana region to strengthen public safety

Internal Affairs Department and State Security Service of Fergana region jointly conducted operational-preventive measures aimed at maintaining public order, preventing crime, and ensuring peace and stability.
The operations involved inspections and preventive work at the residences of 116 individuals who are considered to be prone to committing crimes. The measures led to the discovery of illegal items and prohibited objects in the possession of 95 individuals.
Furthermore, 21 citizens received official warnings intended to prevent further unlawful behavior. In addition, authorities identified 68 criminal cases and documented 27 administrative offenses.
During the operations, law enforcement officers seized 14 cold weapons, nearly 30 kilograms of narcotic substances, one hunting rifle, 32 rounds of ammunition, 42 pneumatic weapon components, three pneumatic weapons, and other prohibited items.
It was noted that such coordinated rapid and preventive measures are being conducted regularly to strengthen public safety, prevent crime, and maintain law and order in the region.
