Measures to prevent crime among women were discussed at the MDIA of the Tashkent region

Tashkent Regional Internal Affairs Department held a coordination meeting to discuss further measures to prevent crimes and offenses committed by women.
A consistent prevention effort and targeted awareness initiative conducted since the beginning of the year have resulted in a significant reduction in crimes committed by women in the region.
The meeting, attended by senior inspectors, inspector-psychologists, and representatives of city and district internal affairs bodies, was held with the participation of Ministry leadership. This session provided participants with the opportunity to present their proposals and future plans focused on strengthening preventive work in this area.
The event was led by Colonel N. Giyasova, Deputy Head of the Crime Prevention Service of the Public Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Lieutenant Colonel M. Abdullayeva, Deputy Head of the regional Crime Prevention Department.
A particular focus was placed on early prevention measures, including individualized work with families facing social or domestic challenges, support for unemployed women seeking employment, and expansion of social assistance systems.
The responsible officials were instructed to increase targeted preventive efforts, enhance community engagement, and ensure timely intervention in order to reduce the risk of offenses.
