The Interpol National Central Bureau of Uzbekistan ensures the extradition of wanted individual

The National Central Bureau (NCB) of Interpol in the Republic of Uzbekistan has successfully extradited a citizen listed on the international wanted list.
The individual was wanted for large-scale fraud and had been listed through Interpol channels by Uzbekistan’s NCB. Close coordination and continuous information exchange with partner National Central Bureaus abroad were maintained in order to locate and detain the suspect.
A wanted individual was identified and detained in Georgia as a result of joint operational measures with the Interpol NCB in Tbilisi.
The National Central Bureau of Interpol (NCB) of Uzbekistan provided full organizational, legal, and information support throughout the process of extradition.
Following the approval of the extradition request by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, submitted through the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan, the individual was transferred to Tashkent. The extradition was carried out with the direct participation of NCB Interpol officers. The suspect will now face further legal proceedings in accordance with national legislation.
This case highlights the effectiveness of international cooperation through Interpol mechanisms and underscores the remarkably significant role of Uzbekistan’s National Central Bureau in combating transnational crime and ensuring the inevitability of punishment.
