MIA leadership reviewed the performance of the Department of Security at Transport and Tourism Facilities for the past three months

The meeting, headed by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Major General Bakhodir Yuldoshevich Mirzarakhimov, focused on assessing the department’s recent activities, achieved results, and existing shortcomings. In addition, it was noted that consistent efforts have been made to ensure public safety at key transport centers, including airports, railway stations, and metro stations, as well as to prevent crime and to create a safe and comfortable environment for both locals and international visitors.
A special emphasis was placed on the role of modern technologies in strengthening security. The expansion of video surveillance systems, the introduction of advanced information technologies, and the reinforcement of preventive measures have contributed to the early detection and prevention of offenses across transport infrastructure.
Additionally, the meeting discussed issues related to service discipline, professional training, and personal responsibility among the employees. A key priority was identified as improving the vigilance and effectiveness of transportation and tourism personnel.
Concluding the meeting, Major General Mirzarakhimov outlined a number of priority tasks for the future. These include further improving security systems in the transport and tourism sectors, strengthening safety measures at airports, railway and metro facilities, and intensifying targeted efforts to prevent violations.
The responsible officials were instructed to address identified shortcomings promptly, improve operational efficiency, and ensure strict adherence to the rule of law.
It was emphasized that such critical and analytical reviews play a vital role in evaluating performance, setting clear future objectives, and further enhancing security in this key sector.
