The Department of Migration and Personalization under the MIA held a two-day training seminar on digitalization reforms and information system enhancements

On April 23–24, 2026, the seminar brought together specialists from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the city of Tashkent, the Tashkent region, and other regional internal affairs departments. The training aimed to improve practical skills in digital technologies, review ongoing reforms within the system, and ensure that employees are up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
The participants were introduced to newly implemented systems, ongoing digital transformation initiatives, software updates, and technical challenges, as well as ways to address them. Furthermore, special attention was paid to improving citizen appeals' response time and reducing their number through more efficient use of digital tools.
The seminar also covered the implementation of Presidential Resolution No. PR-14 of January 19, 2026, which aims to bring the activities of internal affairs bodies in the field of migration and personalization to a qualitatively enhanced level through digitalization. Discussions focused on developing more user-friendly systems for the public, as well as identifying and resolving region-specific issues.
Experts from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and IT specialists took part in the sessions. They engaged in open dialogue and answered participants’ questions.
Following the seminar, the Head of the Department presented certificates to employees who demonstrated active participation.
