The efforts are being made in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 33 dated March 3 of this year, which provides additional organizational and legal measures for the protection of women and children and for the prevention of harassment and violence against them.
As part of this work, the Deputy Head of the Crime Prevention Service of the Public Security Department, Colonel Nilufar Giyasova, has led a series of awareness-raising events across cities and districts in the region.
Outreach activities are aimed at protecting the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of citizens, particularly women and minors, as well as promoting a culture of lawfulness within society.
As part of the meetings, participants received comprehensive information on preventing harassment and violence, fostering a zero-tolerance attitude towards such offenses, and providing practical assistance to victims.
The objective of these initiatives is to create a safe and supportive social environment, to protect the rights and interests of women and children, and to prevent acts of violence from occurring.
