Experts from Türkiye visited the Academy of the MIA

A delegation of experts led by Osman Giray, Head of the Anti-Narcotics Department of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye, visited the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
As part of the visit, representatives from the sister country visited the Information Resource Center, Master's program, Center for Monitoring and Quality Control of Education, sports complex, and Spirituality and Enlightenment Center in order to become familiar with their activities. They were introduced to innovative approaches implemented in the educational process aimed at training highly qualified personnel for the internal affairs bodies.
At a meeting held in the International Conference Hall with the participation of the guests, the parties exchanged views on key areas of cooperation. It was noted that the steadily developing interdepartmental cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye contributes to combating transnational crime, enhancing personnel capacity, and exchanging advanced experience.
In this regard, it was stressed that the ongoing joint training sessions with Turkish specialists serve as an expression of mutually beneficial cooperation and are essential for further improving the quality of education.
During the dialogue, the parties agreed to deepen cooperation ties, expand educational programs, and strengthen collaboration in areas such as modern management, public safety, combating cybercrime, digitalization of internal affairs activities, as well as organizing professional development courses for faculty members and trainees.
Furthermore, during the visit, training sessions related to current priorities and modern trends in combating narcotic drugs will also be conducted. Professors, instructors, and cadets from specialized departments will participate in the four-day sessions.
