The MIA Leadership reviewed the probation services in Bukhara region

The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs made a critical and in-depth assessment of probation service activities in Bukhara region.
As part of the visit, Deputy Head of the Public Security Department and Head of the Probation Department, Colonel Azamat Urokov, together with Deputy Head of the Probation Department, Lieutenant Colonel A. Abdikadirov, reviewed the working conditions of staff members and evaluated the effectiveness of prevention measures implemented with probation-supervised individuals.
The review covered the probation departments in Kogon city, as well as Gijduvon, Shofirkan, Jondor, Vobkent, Bukhara, Kogon, Peshku, and Romitan districts.
During the study, a special focus was placed on efforts to prevent repeat offenses, reduce violations, facilitate the social adaptation of individuals under supervision, assist with employment, and advance the digitalization of probation services. The responsible officials received clear instructions on how to address existing shortcomings and improve overall performance.
As part of the program, the Deputy Head of the Department of Public Security also met with young people under probation supervision and individuals who had been granted pardons. Their concerns were heard directly, and relevant instructions were issued to ensure timely resolution of the issues raised.
