Uzbekistan joins Signing of Memorandum on Turkic Forensic Network

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the signing ceremony of the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Turkish Forensic Network," held on April 3 in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event brought together representatives of forensic institutions from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan member states of the Organization of Turkic States.
Uzbekistan was represented by Colonel S.S. Nuriddinov, Head of the Main Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A memorandum of understanding is intended to enhance scientific collaboration and establish a systematic framework for interaction among forensic institutions in the participating countries. During the meeting, the parties identified several key areas of collaboration:
- Utilizing modern electronic platforms to facilitate effective communication and information exchange.
- Developing the professional skills of forensic experts through the exchange of scientific methods, laboratory management, advanced technologies, and innovative approaches.
- Organizing conferences, symposiums, seminars, and expert meetings for the purpose of supporting joint research projects and comparative studies, as well as identifying potential areas for collaboration.
- Expanding forensic science collaborations with leading international institutions, research centers, and higher educational institutions.
Moreover, the participants agreed to hold annual meetings of heads of forensic institutions to exchange best practices, review achievements, and address existing challenges.
