Mutual travel issues between citizens of Uzbekistan and the Philippines were discussed

On March 12, the Deputy Head of the Department of Migration and Personalization under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Behzod Sayfullaev, met with Bekhbat Sodnom, the Honorary Consul of Mongolia and the Philippines in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Behzod Sayfullaev provided detailed information about the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan’s tourism sector. He also outlined prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries in the field of migration.
Particular attention was given to establishing effective information exchange regarding Filipino citizens residing in Uzbekistan and Uzbek citizens living in the Philippines.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to increase cooperation between the relevant institutions of both countries, particularly in promoting tourism and fighting illegal migration.
