Samarkand Regional Internal Affairs Department hosted a solemn event to celebrate International Women's Day

A festive ceremony dedicated to International Women's Day was held at the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
The event was opened by the Head of the Department, Major General Tohir Aripov. He warmly congratulated female employees serving in regional internal affairs bodies. His greetings were also extended to veteran employees who devoted many years of service to the system and are now enjoying well-deserved retirement, as well as to the mothers and wives of officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
During the solemn ceremony, several female employees were presented with departmental awards by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan along with congratulatory gifts from the department leadership.
The Ministry awarded 14 female officers distinctions in recognition of their dedication and exemplary service, including the “For Impeccable Service” medal (1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees), the “For Excellent Service” badge, the “Honorary Badge,” and commemorative wrist watches as recognition of their dedication and exemplary service.
Additionally, as a result of a ministerial order, one employee has been granted the special rank of major ahead of schedule.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Major General Tohir Aripov emphasized that female officers' achievements and dedication serve as a strong example for all personnel. He also emphasized that each of them truly deserves such recognition.
