A systematic effort is underway to implement an intelligent video surveillance system in the Mirabad district of Tashkent in accordance with Resolution No PR-1 dated January 5, 2026, adopted by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In February of this year, an on-site assessment was conducted jointly with the Mirabad district Administration and the Internal Affairs Department. This monitoring was undertaken to verify whether video surveillance cameras installed in public gathering areas, along streets, near schools, at mahalla entrances and exits, and around shopping facilities are in compliance with established technical and regulatory standards.
According to the findings of specialists from the Safe City Systems Development Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the technical specifications of the installed intelligent cameras fully meet the approved standards and guidelines.
The ongoing efforts in Mirabad district are expected to serve as a model for the phased implementation of intelligent video surveillance systems across the country. The installation of modern, high-performance cameras will enhance crime prevention effectiveness, ensure the quick detection of violations, and enable timely response to incidents.
