The "Safe City" concept has been implemented in Chilanzar district of Tashkent city by expanding the video surveillance infrastructure.
A team of specialists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' "Safe City" Systems Development Center, together with Chilanzar district Internal Affairs Department officers, is conducting on-site assessments across mahallas, commercial and service facilities, public gathering areas, and internal streets. These inspections are intended to determine the most appropriate locations for installing intelligent video surveillance cameras.
A team of experts conducts field studies to determine the optimal placement points and to determine the technical requirements, including ensuring power supply and stable Internet connectivity.
Additionally, measures are being implemented to ensure real-time monitoring through modern camera systems, to integrate video data into a unified centralized platform, and to enhance coordination with emergency response services.
A key objective of these initiatives is to strengthen public safety, to prevent offenses at an early stage, to identify incidents as soon as they occur, and to foster a stable and secure environment throughout the district.
The “Safe City” Systems Development Center continues its consistent work in this direction, prioritizing the broad introduction of modern information and communication technologies to safeguard public peace and security.
