Interpol extradited an internationally wanted individual from Georgia to Uzbekistan

A citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan who was on the international wanted list was extradited to Uzbekistan as a result of effective international cooperation through Interpol channels.
The individual was wanted for committing a criminal offense in violation of Part 2 of Article 118 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was discovered that the suspect was on the territory of Georgia and was detained as a result of an international search operation.
Extradition was achieved through coordinated efforts and close cooperation between Uzbekistan and Georgia's National Central Bureaus, demonstrating the effectiveness of joint operations.
In the past two months, this is the third extradition of Uzbek nationals from Georgia, reflecting the close bilateral cooperation and mutual assistance between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
Uzbek Interpol Bureau officers escorted the extradited individual to the Republic of Uzbekistan and handed him over to the relevant law enforcement authorities for further procedural action and criminal prosecution.
