The Department for Security at Transport and Tourism Facilities celebrates Defenders of the Fatherland Day

A ceremonial event dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and January 14 – Defenders of the Fatherland Day was held at the Department for Security at Transport and Tourism Facilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The occasion served as a tribute to the devotion and professional service of military personnel and law enforcement officers who protect peace, independence, and public security in the country.
Opening the event, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Bohodir Yuldashevich Mirzarakhimov, highlighted the large-scale reforms being implemented within the internal affairs system. He noted that these reforms have strengthened the system as a modern, professional structure capable of delivering timely and high-quality services to citizens. Emphasizing loyalty to the Motherland and service to the people as the highest duty of every officer, he extended heartfelt congratulations to all personnel on the national holiday.
As part of the ceremony, a group of employees from the central office, as well as territorial departments and divisions of the Department for Security at Transport and Tourism Facilities, were honored with awards. The commendations recognized their exemplary performance, dedication to maintaining law and order, and notable service achievements.
