Uzbekistan and Vietnam jointly arrested a criminal suspect wanted by Interpol

A suspect wanted by Interpol has been successfully detained and extradited to the Republic of Uzbekistan as a result of coordinated efforts between the National Central Bureaus (NCBs) of Interpol in Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
The NCBs in Tashkent and Hanoi worked closely together and implemented effective operational measures to locate, apprehend, and deport an Uzbek national who had been hiding in Vietnam. The individual was on the international wanted list for committing economic and property-related crimes on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Following extradition, the suspect will face legal proceedings and be held accountable for his crimes.
