Representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Guard conducted inspections to assess atmospheric air pollution caused by the absence of filtration systems on heating boilers used in greenhouse complexes.
As part of the joint monitoring effort, the working group checked 32 greenhouses located in the Chigatay, Kensoy, Kirariq, Kuksaroy, and Shamsiabad mahallas. The inspections revealed that 10 coal-heated greenhouses were operating without mandatory air-purifying filters, while three additional facilities were found to be burning garbage. In response, regional environmental authorities documented the violations and initiated procedures to suspend the operations of the identified greenhouses.
During the inspections, specialists provided greenhouse owners with detailed explanations regarding the regulatory requirements for installing filtration systems during coal combustion. They also explained the proper method of disposing of waste.
Environmental monitoring and coordinated measures aimed at reducing air pollution are ongoing in other places as well.
