From October 30 to November 13, the 43rd UNESCO General Conference took place in Samarkand, bringing together delegates from around the world. The law enforcement agencies have taken all necessary security measures to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of this prestigious international event.
A meeting dedicated to this issue was held at the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs. It was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Major General Bakhodir Mirzarahimov.
The meeting discussed the importance of ensuring a peaceful and orderly conduct of all conference events, strict compliance with security protocols, and enhancing the responsibility and readiness of personnel assigned to specific tasks.
During this process, particular attention was paid to enhancing the safety of foreign guests and tourists, especially when visiting religious sites, historical monuments, and other popular tourist spots.
Following the meeting, responsible employees received clear instructions, and the necessary measures were approved to ensure a high level of security.
