An in-depth review of efforts to strengthen safety in Samarkand mahallas was conducted

The head of the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Major General Tokhir Aripov, reviewed the measures taken to ensure public safety and prevent crime in the "Yangiarik" mahalla of Samarkand district, "Kamolot" mahalla of Pastdargam district, as well as the "Saikal," "Rasadkhona," and "Bahodir Yalangtosh" mahallas of Samarkand city.
Additionally, special attention is being paid to strengthening ties with the population and resolving existing issues. For this purpose, the Head of the Department visited the mentioned mahallas and reviewed ongoing activities in crime prevention and law enforcement.
He highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation through dialogue with the seven mahallas, developing targeted action plans, and identifying household problems as he assessed the work done under the "safe zone" principle.
Additionally, the results of the work that was completed during the year, as well as identified mistakes and deficiencies, were analyzed.
In addition, it was stressed that each responsible official must be dedicated to maintaining the peace and security of the community. In this regard, relevant guidance and recommendations have been provided to mahalla representatives and local leaders.
