Celebration of the 34th Anniversary of Independence at the Ministry of Internal Affairs

In celebration of our nation's 34th anniversary of independence, a significant event was held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, coinciding with nationwide celebrations under the theme, "For the Motherland, for the Nation, for the People."
The event was attended by Ministry leadership, personnel, veterans, and members of the Ministry's Public Council. Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, Minister of Internal Affairs, presided over the proceedings and highlighted the invaluable contributions of internal affairs personnel. He acknowledged their pivotal role in safeguarding the nation's peace, enhancing community welfare, ensuring the tranquility of our citizens, and protecting the interests of every individual under the guidance of the Head of State.
As we celebrate this festive occasion, we are grateful to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for independence, as well as devoted veterans who have dedicated their lives to the advancement of the field.
Additionally, Minister Tashpulatov acknowledged the dedicated efforts of law enforcement personnel who were committed in ensuring public safety throughout the celebrations.
As part of the ceremony, Major General Gayrat Kadirov, Head of the Jizzakh Regional Internal Affairs Department, received the Order of "Honor" of the first degree from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in recognition of his bravery and commitment to maintaining public order, upholding the rule of law, ensuring national peace, and fostering a sense of patriotism among youth. Additionally, Colonel Abduvokhid Ismailov and Colonel Ikromjon Tursunov were awarded the Order of "Mardlik" for their commendable service in Kashkadarya and Bukhara regions, respectively.
Additionally, Lieutenant Colonel Oksana Gordienko received the Order of Friendship; Lieutenant Colonel Sobitjon Yakubov received the Medal of Courage; Lieutenant Colonel Abdukhalil Nosirov received the Medal of Loyalty; and Lieutenant Colonel Utkir Narjigitov was awarded the Medal of Honor.
The government representatives also announced that additional awards would be presented to individuals who have demonstrated exemplary service, including Inspector Mohigul Siddikova from the Fergana region.
A number of awards were presented at the event, including departmental badges, high titles, and valuable gifts given by the Minister of Internal Affairs to employees who demonstrated outstanding loyalty and service.
A number of veterans, members of the Public Council, and award recipients spoke at the ceremony, emphasizing the importance of this holiday within the internal affairs community. Representatives within the internal affairs framework recognized the ongoing support provided by the head of state for the system and social welfare of employees as a source of great pride.
