I sincerely congratulate all employees of the internal affairs bodies, military personnel, professors and teachers of educational institutions, cadets, veterans, and family members of employees who died in the line of duty, who have dedicated their lives to the great and noble purpose of maintaining peace and order in the country and who have been selflessly serving in the fight against crime and preventing violations, on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and January 14 - the Day of Defenders of the Homeland.
Our Honorable President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has led a large-scale initiative to raise the power of the national army over the past period, strengthen our country's territorial integrity and independence, improve the combat readiness of our troops, and increase the spiritual outlook of our employees and military personnel.
This year's celebrations take place under the slogan, "The New Army of Uzbekistan is the strength of our nation, the pride of our people!" It is no coincidence that our national army has become a real shield capable of ensuring our people's peace and the independence of our nation today.
It should be noted that the time itself requires that every employee and military personnel serving in the internal affairs bodies be worthy successors to our great ancestors, such as Jaloliddin Manguberdi, the noble Amir Temur, and Babur Mirzo, and never forget what they owe them.
That is why every employee needs to be patriotic and serve faithfully, worthy of their position, with their worldview, responsibility, and initiative. They must foresee threats and dangers and always be ready to fight them.
It is my sincere belief that our loyal and dedicated employees, fully aware of their tasks, will mobilize all their skills, knowledge, and energy and will always deserve the respect of our people and the confidence of our President.
I take this opportunity to once again sincerely congratulate you all on this wonderful holiday and wish you tremendous success in your important work, ensuring the security and territorial integrity of our country and maintaining peace and order within it.
May our country always be a place of peace and safety.
Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General P.R. Bobojonov
