Ikrom Tillaev, Deputy Head of the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs, and Davron Akhmedov, Deputy Head of the Crime Prevention Department, attended the event organized for cadets studying in the speciality "Crime Prevention Activities".

During the meeting, representatives of the sector discussed the criminogenic situation within mahallas, the efforts being made to curb crime throughout the regions, to ensure public safety and the well-being of citizens, and to identify the roles of members of the "mahalla seven" system in preventing crimes in advance.

Also, factors that negatively affect the criminogenic situation in the regions were analyzed, and views were exchanged on the work that needs to be done to create a safe environment in mahallas, improve the legal culture of the population, increase the effectiveness of social prevention, and in other important areas.

During the roundtable discussion, the assistant to the head of the Academy, Ismoil Himmatov, the head of the Department of Crime Prevention, Sanjar Sharipov and others spoke and gave the cadets the necessary recommendations. Active youth were encouraged with books by the DIA of Tashkent city.
