At the event, experts from the Crime Prevention Service of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and "Istiqbolli Avlod" spoke about the international and national normative legal bases for combating gender violence.
Moreover, the prevention of violence against women, psychological assistance in this regard, the procedure for issuing protection warrants to individuals subject to harassment or violence, including social norms based upon tradition as a cause of gender violence, the difference between family conflict and violence, the participants and types of gender violence, as well as trainings on its recognition as a problem were conducted.
