Security measures are being reviewed for the 33rd anniversary of the independence of our country

On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a working group headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojonov, checked the measures aimed at ensuring the safety of the population during the festive events and public holidays organized in Yashnabad, Yunusabad and Yakkasaray districts of our capital.
Today, as our country celebrates its 33rd anniversary, more than 200 locations hold commemorative events based on the idea: "If we are united, we are one nation, if we are united, we are Homeland!".
Over 16 thousand employees of internal affairs bodies were recruited to maintain public order and ensure public safety during these events.
For the purpose of analyzing this activity, the working group led by the Minister of Internal Affairs reviewed the activities of the employees responsible for maintaining public order in the parks where holiday events are held.
In particular, the night service activities in the "Ashkhabad" culture and recreation park in Yashnabad district, in the "Sayilgoh" entertainment center located along Sayilgoh and Zarafshan streets in Yunusabad district, in the entertainment park located along Sharof Rashidov avenue in Yakkasaray district, and in the vicinity of "Moviy Gumbazlar" venue in cooperation with the public and the security measures implemented in the regions were studied.
The report of the employees involved in the maintenance of public order in the complexes was heard, the operational readiness of the employees to prevent violations was checked as a control, as well as the relevant instructions were given regarding the organization of the service in cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
During the event, the working group also introduced the work process and the conditions created for the employees of Law Enforcement Center No. 1, located on Sultanali Mashhadi Street, Dustabad mahalla, Yashnabad district, to stabilize the socio-criminogenic situation in the area of Ahilabad mahalla, Yunusabad district. The ongoing works, as well as the activities of the Law enforcement center No. 1 located in the "Bogishamol" mahalla of the district, were studied.
At the event, the main focus was on the organization of the service with responsibility and vigilance, video surveillance control in the areas of entertainment centers and parks, measures taken to ensure the safe movement of vehicles, peace of the population, and the implementation of appropriate tasks for eliminating the identified shortcomings.
