A delegation of officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Center for the Development of “Safe City” Systems took part in the international technology forum “GITEX AI Central Asia & Caucasus Kazakhstan 2026,” held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Leading international experts and organizations from the fields of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity, data processing centers, smart city technologies, and the development of modern digital infrastructure participated in the large-scale international forum.
As part of the event, representatives of the "Safe City" Center met with representatives of the technology company Huawei to discuss prospects for bilateral collaboration.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of “AI + secure network” solutions, as well as the possibility of testing and implementing advanced technologies within the “Safe City” system.
A particular focus was placed on the integration of artificial intelligence technologies with the "Safe City" digital platform. In this regard, discussions focused on the possibility of directly displaying AI-based video analytics data and automatically generated danger alerts within the unified management interface of the system.
The international forum was noted as an opportunity to gain experience and reach technical agreements that will be useful to the development of the concept of "Safe City", as well as the expansion of the platform's capabilities and the introduction of advanced digital technologies that aim to strengthen public safety.
