The issue of stabilizing criminogenic conditions in Surkhandarya region is being reviewed

In Surkhandarya region, efforts are underway to improve public safety and maintain law and order under the leadership of Colonel Ramazon Ashropov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
As part of the ongoing working visit, the Deputy Minister visited the districts of Denov, Uzun, Sariosiyo, Shurchi and Kumkurgan. He reviewed the practical measures being implemented to create a safe and stable environment in local mahallas.
During the study, a particular focus was placed on improving the criminal situation in the region, improving early crime prevention effectiveness, and strengthening individual preventive work with individuals at risk.
A special emphasis was also placed on increasing the responsibility and coordination of members of the "mahalla seven" with respect to preventing crimes and offenses against youth, women, and unemployed citizens, and addressing family issues.
In addition, the responsible officials were given relevant instructions to clearly define the duties of each member of the mahalla structures and to enhance targeted preventive measures at the local level.
