The First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs reviewed the activities of internal affairs bodies in Namangan region

The First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Rustam Juraev, visited the Namangan region to become familiar with the activities of territorial internal affairs bodies, as well as the practical work being done to enhance public safety and prevent crime.
As part of the visit, the First Deputy Minister reviewed the operations of the “Namangan Road Patrol Service” and examined the results achieved in its service activities. It was noted that during the first four months of this year, the station identified more than 40 cases related to illegal drug trafficking.
A special attention was also paid to the working conditions and the materials and technical capabilities of the station during the visit. Further instructions were provided for strengthening the post's technical infrastructure, including the installation of additional video surveillance cameras equipped with Face-ID technology, as well as enhancing coordination among the road patrol, patrol post, quarantine and canine service personnel. On the same day, Major General Rustam Juraev also reviewed the activities of the Duty Unit and the Situation Center of the Pop District Internal Affairs Department.
The working visit continued in several mahallas of the Pop, Chust, Turakurgan and Kosonsoy districts, where practical measures aimed at improving service efficiency based on the “Chilanzar experience” were reviewed.
An emphasis was placed on organizing preventive work in mahallas classified as "red" and "yellow", as well as in border areas. A detailed discussion was conducted regarding the effectiveness of prevention inspectors' activities and targeted measures to maintain stability and public order. Following the visit, responsible officials and employees were given specific instruction on further improving service effectiveness and strengthening preventive measures.
