Ministry of Internal Affairs leadership reviewed "mahalla seven" activities in Urgench district

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Bakhodir Mirzarakhimov visited "Yoshlik" and "Rovot" mahallas in Urgench district to inspect the day-to-day operations of the local "mahalla seven" teams and sectoral service employees.
During the visit, particular attention was paid to the effectiveness of measures aimed at preventing crime and offenses, organizing targeted work with residents, and strengthening social prevention efforts and addressing citizens’ appeals. The level of cooperation between mahalla citizens’ assemblies, prevention inspectors, youth leaders, and other relevant organizations was also closely reviewed.
During the meeting, officials discussed ongoing activities at the household level, including support provided to vulnerable and problem families, prevention of youth delinquency, and initiatives aimed at ensuring women's employment and social support.
An emphasis was placed on maintaining peace and stability in neighborhoods, developing legal awareness and cultural awareness among the population, and implementing modern preventive approaches to community development.
At the conclusion of the visit, responsible employees were given specific instructions to further improve service efficiency, strengthen open dialogue with residents, and ensure a responsible approach to every public appeal.
