The Academy hosted a presentation on digital transformation in internal affairs bodies

A presentation dedicated to ongoing digitalization processes in the internal affairs system was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Opening the event, Head of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs Ravshan Sultankhodjaev outlined the wide-ranging reforms being implemented, with a particular emphasis on progress achieved in the capital.
The presentation brought together heads of sectoral services and district internal affairs bodies, as well as faculty leaders and master’s students. The participants reviewed current digital transformation achievements and discussed priority areas for further development.
The use of digital technologies is increasingly becoming a key indicator of the effectiveness of public administrations. In this regard, the internal affairs system is actively introducing innovative solutions to increase management efficiency, improve transparency, and reduce corruption risks.
In particular, special attention has been paid to the advancement of digital platforms, particularly those that handle citizens’ appeals, strengthen public safety, combat crime, forecast criminal trends, and enhance the quality and speed of investigative and operational search activities.
Additionally, the presentation provided an overview of future prospects using concrete data and analytical indicators. The discussion covered regional best practices regarding the creation of a safe environment, the implementation of tasks under the "Digital Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy, and key challenges that remain to be addressed.
Furthermore, master's students were provided with practical recommendations regarding digital governance's advantages and opportunities.
